Hi there,
Thanks for visiting my website and I hope that you enjoy some of the images that I have in my gallery.
I have been involved in photography for almost 30 years and over that time I have taken a large variety of images, starting with photographs of family and friends progressing through portraits and wedding photography and nature,landscape and sports photography.
These days I am tending to specialise in portrait and wedding photography and am building up a good reputation for stunning modelling portfolios for both new aspiring models as well as more established models.
I still enjoy landscape, seascape, nature and macro photography.


During the past few years I have had images selected for inclusion in several calenders, The RTE Weather Photo Calender for 2007 and 2008 and the Meath Heritage/OPW Tourism Calender 2008.
I won the overall Meath Heritage photographer of the year in this competition in 2008 and 2009 and will also have my work featured in the 2009 calender and a series of postcards for 2010.
I started my photographic career using 35mm SLR cameras, progressed onto medium format film cameras and now use almost exclusively the digital format.
While I do use the latest version of Photoshop software in my PC I do try as much as possible to get the images I want in the camera rather than from the PC and take a little more time composing the subject and getting the exposure and the lighting right.I think it is fantastic the way you can review your images on a digital camera screen after capture to make sure that what you have captured is what you envisioned and if not you can change the settings and take it again (providing it is not fast action sports photography or an elusive animal or insect image).
You couldn't do that with film cameras, you had to wait until the film was processed to see if you had got things right.
